"Folie a Duex"

Winner - Antics Competition Feb 2008,

 

 

The competition was judged by 3 times oscar winning VFX Supervisor Jim Rygiel. 

Jim won the Academy Award for Best Visual Effects in 3 consecutive years for his work on the Lord of the Rings. He was also recently the VFX supervisor on Click and Night at the Museum, and is currently using Antics for the Chronicles of Narnia.

The clips were judged on story, dialogue, direction, camera choreography and editing.Contestants had 6 weeks to submit a 30 second to 2 min long clip based on a medical theme.

Mr RygielJim added his own comments, "Although the story and visuals were very stylised, I was still engrossed in all aspects of the film. It made me think a bit, told the story a bit, and was very engaging to watch and pleasant to listen to. I would have to pick Tony's as my number one choice. It made me think of one of my favorite movies 'Requiem for a Dream'."
