Tony Bannan
I started in the tv business some 25yrs ago as a trainee tech, didn't take long before I discovered Production was where I wanted to be and I started cutting and doing some on-air direction. I've been lucky to have been fully employed the entire time in post-production aspects of film and tv ever since. Sound, lighting even a little camera work. I consider myself as an editor by trade. More recently I have just finished a stint of editor/compositor of television spots using Flame and Smoke (12yrs) to take up a new job as a compositor and DI colorist working on film. I've also created Ammo Previz from the ground up using Antics at it's core and it has been a great ride. The whole previz process has been a fantastic opportunity to combine all my skills in production to deliver and create right at the frontline.
If you get a chance check out the following links for more example of my work with ANTICS.

and for those who are interested in the process I've built two compare pages which show the Antics program output before and after I've done a post treatment on the clips.
